Pupils will focus on developing the skills to help them to be work ready. They will have visiting speakers from a range of business to talk about different aspects of work life. They will use and consolidate this knowledge in their work experience placement.
Events:
Pupils will develop a greater understanding of what the next phase of their education/training might look like. And what that could lead to. They will also continue to build on the work place skills laid down in Year 10. Pupils will have ongoing input from Woldgate, colleges, employers and training providers.
Pupils will use the Start software as well as a variety of other websites/resources to help them conduct their research.
